Role Description:
We are currently looking for a Business Policy Consultant with significant technical background to fulfill the following objectives:
- Propose new product features and updates Provide thought leadership, guidance and industry best practices to our customers
- Play the role of a conduit between the customer and the technical team. Focus on the management of the customer's requirements specifications and verifying fulfillment of all requirements
- Effectively capture requirements/workflow methodologies of customers to provide quality architecture
- Design solutions using rules engines and third-party products.
- Provide sound technical coaching and advice to developers, facilitate their tasks and increase their productivity
- Identify ways to improve project management in the planning process through requirements development and analysis
Ideal Candidate should possess the following Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Computer Science is a big plus) and at least three years relevant work experience in companies that provide technical solutions, e.g., the Big Four or SAIC(preferably a hands-on experience in the financial services industry)
- Familiarity with iterative software development practices, such as the Rational Unified Process and Extreme Programming, with expertise in requirements management and change management
- Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design concepts
- Highly self-motivated, strong business sense, and ability to offer technical solutions while ensuring achievement of business objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a distinct ability to work closely with various levels within our customers' organizations as well as internally
- An aptitude to multi-task
- Detail oriented and extremely well-organized
- Willingness to travel more than 70% of the time
